We are committed to providing children with a safe, caring, stimulating environment where they can have fun and be given the opportunity to grow and learn at their own pace. We do this through offering the warmth and friendly care of a day nursery combined with a pre-school’s commitment to helping children prepare for school and learn through play.

We have a holistic approach to education and see all areas of children’s development as a part of the learning process. A cornerstone of our philosophy is to help children develop an understanding of their environment and the people around them - including their friends at nursery, the wider community and the natural world.  From this, children can develop a sense of care and responsibility which is empowering, giving them a firm foundation from which to grow.

Children at the nursery will also be helped to develop habits that are important for a happy and healthy lifestyle, with lots of encouragement to run and play outside as well as plenty of healthy, wholesome and tasty naturally-prepared food.

The children are involved in the day to day running of the nursery from helping to prepare the table for lunch, to involvement in the selection of many of their activities.  Through this, the nursery becomes the children’s own space and a place where they can feel at home.
